Can i use the naturalisation certificate

Hi to every and thanks in advance for valuable input plz the following is my concern:

I have got every thing ready to send my naturalisation application form I am appying base on maried to British citizen I have been in the country for four years Student plus spouse finally to settlement . my problem is this: my wife refused to give me her passport as we are not currently living together due to social service but she has given me her naturalisation certificate my question is: 1 , can I use the naturalisation certificate as a prove of been maried to BRITISH CITIZEN as am applying base on maried to British citizen or do I still need to include her British passport.

2, If i use the naturalisation certificate will home office delay my naturalisation application process due to not submit my spouse passport?

Plz help me as am about to send the application on Monday through post thanks in advance.

Thanks Jambo for ur quick reply i was sad regard this but ur answer ve put smile on my face By God Grace I wil post my application on monday plz ve a look at the document I wil post and omit those that not necessary

1, The application form
2,Tthe payment slip
3, My passport
4, My biometric card endorse with indefinate leave to remain
5,letter of approval of indifinate leave to remain
6, life in uk test as it was given to me back after my idefinate was approved
7, My wife naturalisation certificate as she refused to give me her passport
8, Tenancy agreement to show the case worker that I have establish home here I dont kw if its necessary as my case is straight forward
9 Two bith certificate of my two British kids to show I have establish a family here also I dont know if its necessary or not
10, The Marriage certificate as am applying base on maried to British citizen

I just want to say a big thanks to u JAMBO for ur vital answer u gave me am happy to tel u that my application has been approved and it took only 12 days to process with the documents return back without any thing missing . I made a postal application . I ve three doubt question. plz every one ve gone the same experience share that with me : question 1. how long it wil take for the invitation to come?

question 2. should I contact the council now or should I wait for the invitation before contacting the council for my ceremong I want to go for private ceremong coz my passport is about to expire very soon and I heard that, when applying for British passport u should ve a valid passport Question 3. is this true? thanks in advance for ur input.
