BUsiness Visa to Tier 2 G

Currently I'm in a client visit to UK as a Business visitor and the Client offered me Visa in Tier 2 G Category. So I need some clarification how to apply.one more thing is my Business visa valid upto september and I want to apply for my tier 2 g from india in August.

1) Can I apply for Tier 2 G now even though i got valid business visa untill september.
2) Is it valid to get tier 2 g from the same company who sponsored me for business visa
