Thank you guys, it was a quick decision indeed and thank goodness for that!

The SMS/email is never indicative of the result. Once you receive the courier, your passport and the letter attached to it will let you know the result. My visa states that its valid till 03/2016 and the letter confirms that I have been granted a 33 months visa.

Best of luck, the wait is almost over!
