Strange reason for refusal.

One of my friend applied Tier 1 Entp 3rd May, Bio 17th May, Refusal 18th june Stated the advertisement pamphlet which submitted does not shows as it is produced locally or nationally(i-e online website marketing)

I m sure he will win the appeal but again 3-4 months process.

If any one applying Tier-1 Entp, Please be careful.

Well, The reason of refusal is very strange. Refusal letter states "Advisement Pamphlet which you submitted does not shows its been produced locally or nationally"

Pamphlet which he sent to UKBA, Cleary shows his name and designation, business name, address, phone numbers.

Then i checked the policy guidance which even states

121. You must confirm your business activity and that you are trading. Business activity

You must provide one or more documents from the following list to confirm your business activity:

•Advertising or marketing material that has been published locally or nationally,
showing your name (and the name of the business if applicable) together with the
business activity. This can include printouts of internet advertising;

Well, don't know much about the refusal since he just told on phone let me meet him n get the details.

gave interview on 22nd April....... still no news . Contacted UKBA so many times but no response

You should try and get the full information first and confirm if there is any other reason of refusal and if he submitted any other form of advert.

Most pamphlet or handbills comes with the printers company name and maybe contact number inscribed with tiny letters at the tip.

Let's get the full gist first.
