i am going to apply naturalization, i have one offence 7 years ago on shop lifting. i admitted this offence no penality no court involved, i go to police station took my picture snd finger print ,
after i request for crb check , crb check shows this offence, bt i just remember shows cautin, reprimands and warning,
i m not sure any thing show with this is it criminal caution or police caution or conviction caution,

See British Citizenship – Good Character Requirement FAQs Question 2. If you had a simple police caution (cannot tell from what you have wrote) you should have declared this for ILR and given that under the old rules it would have been immediately 'spent' and under the new rules would have not been an issue after 24 months it would not have adversely affected the application (assuming it is a simple police caution - likely). If you have a police caution you should declare it in the extra information box. The biometric data (fingerprints and DNA sample) should be deleted from IDENT1 and the NDNAD sometime late this year or next year. The actual police caution at the moment remains forever (basically) but in the future this should change.
