Family visit duration of stay

Hi all,

I apologise if this has been asked before, but I couldn't find information needed on this forum. Could I please request the users here for advise?

My parents got 2 year family visitor visa starting from may 2013 to may 2015. They came Herron 23/05/13, will leave UK on 26/06/2013 after spending 34 days here.

They intend to come back in November 2013 and stay until march/April 2014, my question are

1. Will they be allowed to enter in nov 2013 as they have not spent 6 months outside to spend the remaining days (180 - 35) 145?
2. If allowed how long are they entitled to stay.
3. 6 months stay rule in any given year, does it apply from the date of entry?

On the passport the length of duration says 180 days

3. 6 months stay in a given year rule is no longer in place. also see the UKBA guidance on frequency and duration of visit.
