Child British Passport

Hi, both me and my wife hold ILR and we are expecting a baby next month.
My questions is will my child automatically become a British citizen when he born here? If so, do we still need to do the MN1 application or can apply for babies passport directly? Sorry if im asking a question which already been answered before but thanks in advance for your advise.

Yes, Child will be British when born, apply straight for passport.
