2 months absense - VISA switiching from Tier 2 ICT to Genera

Post by Confused_mind » Mon Jun 24, 2013 2:27 pm

Hi,

I have seen this forum to be very helpful, and precise in clarifying the queries raised by people.
Hope, my doubts are also clarified.
With High hopes, here are my doubts, that needs clarification.
It will be a great help, if i can get response as soon as possible.

My dependants have been living with me in UK since Mar 2009.
If i am switching from Tier 2 ICT to Tier 2 General, whilst my family is on holiday in India for couple of months

* Would they be able to apply for ILR, along with me, in March 2014?
Other words, since they are not in UK while i am switching to Tier 2 General, will their stay from MAr 2009, cannot be counted for ILR in Mar 2014, and would they have to start again?

* If they have to start again, would it be for 2 years or 5 years?

Appreciate a precise, and sooner response

Thanks & Regards
Thanigai

This is pretty urgent, as there is a travel plan for my family, next week
