Indefinite Leave To Remain/ Biometric Letter.

Post by Hummingbird2 » Mon Jun 24, 2013 6:34 pm

I am an Australian national married to a British woman. We applied for my ILR(postal) from inside the UK on the 4th of June 2013. I received the confirmation letter on the 10th of June. My biometric letter arrived on the 21st of June(although dated the 18th June) and went and paid for my biometric on the 24th June. 13 working days in total.

From what I have researched this is rather quick. Most people are waiting four to five weeks after, even more. Does this mean that UKBA are processing application quicker? I was informed that it would take 20 working days for straight forward cases. Then again it was the guy at the post office.

Has anyone recently had theirs biometrics as quick as this or am I being optimistic?

Thank you to everyone in advance for your help.

:D
