ILR through Tier 2 ICT - Letter from employer for absences.

Post by pkv » Mon Jun 24, 2013 7:45 pm

Hi,

I am in Tier 2 ICT eligible to apply for ILR at the end of next month, July 2013. Details of my absences are as below,

Year 1 - 9 days, Holiday
Year 2 - 34 days, Holiday + Surgery in India
Year 3 - 24 days, Holiday
Year 4 - 0 days
Year 5 - 91 days, Holiday + Project Transition & Closure

I didn't exceed the 180 days limit in any of the 5 consecutive 12 months period as mentioned above.

The employer will not provide any letter however I can evidence all these absences with pay slips to prove that I have been with the same employer through out and that I have been paid UK salary except Year 5 where I was paid in Indian salary as per the company rules as it exceeds 90 days.

Can you guys help me understand if there are any complications in my case and if so suggestions to manage please?

That should suffice, it's rare that a letter is requested, the payslips and a letter from you detailing the absence should be sufficient.
