Tier 2 Re-entry (Questions at Airport)

Post by papan36125 » Tue Jun 25, 2013 10:55 am

Hello all,

I got my Tier 2 Biometric residence permit last year. I am planning to go to india for 3 weeks. So I wanted to know what kind of questions (if any) they will ask at the airport when I come back. Do I need to carry any other document other than my Biometric card and passport. Answers will be really appreciated.

Regards

Hi

Other than biometric card and passport, you just need to fill in the arrival card (the white and blue one) available near the immigration desk.

The questions they usually ask are any of the following:

1) Which company are you working for?
2) How long have you been working there?
3) What is your job there?
4) Which country have you come from and how long were you there for?
5) Why did you travel there?
6) How long have you been in the U.K for?

The first 3 questions are the ones I get asked mos of the time. This is from London Gatwick btw. But I imagine it should more or less be the same
