Dependant of ILR

I(dependant), and daughter(dependant) applied with wife(main applicant-and are married) on FLR(O) to extend her leave based on issues with University(completion of thesis). Whilst the FLRo was in progress, Wife filled in SET(O) as she was then eligible for the 10yr long stay. Names of dependants mentioned on the forms as we cannot apply together. fLRo was later voided as SET(O) process begins! No returns of documents to dependants and no advices.
SET(O) has just been granted, ILR given to main applicant. All docs returned.
My question now is ..how do I apply as a dependant and what form should I use ?? FLR(O) or FLR(M)??
Question 2. Since earlier FLRo was cancelled and dependants were not advised and documents not returned till main applicant case was decided..has dependant broken any law?? And I have been advised to use FLR(O) form not FLR(M)...but ukba enquiry said I must use FLR(M)... Am a bit confused here..pls HELP!!

As you are now the partner of a settled person it would be flr(m). How long ago did your old visa expire and what was your old visa, PBS?
