Spouse visa processing time

Hi,
Wondering if member can share latest spouse visa processing time from India. We got married on 20th May 2013. Applied for Visa on 29th May 2013. Status shows as "VISA APPLICATION IS UNDER PROCESS".

Seeing previous post, I can see it is taking 2-3 months to receive decision. Does anyone know why it takes so long? There was also post that, employment checks, marriage checks is done by BHC. Is this the case with all application and the reason of such delay? So far there is no employment checks taken place or it might not be the case for all. Please share your experience and visa processing time.

I also applied but don't know, why the delay. I not had anyone contact my work place. The Status has not changed for a month.

04/06/2013 = Visa application, ref no.DEAC/xxxxxxxx has been dispatched to the British High Commission on 04/06/2013 for processing.
09/06/2013 = Visa application is under process at the British High Commission

Does anyone know what is the next status? Is does it state reject or approved or just Documents ready for collection?

wife checked the documents and Visa is GRANTED.
