Tier 1 General decision pending for 10 months

Hi,

My Tier 1 general Visa expires on 26th August 2012 and I applied for extension in 20th August 2012 with car details for payment. I got acknowledgment on 27th August 2012 and amount debited from my account on 28th august 2012. My biometric done on 6th September 2012. I am worried that know its almost 10 months and not get decision.

If any one have any advice what to do.
