OCI Application Status shows no Records

Hi Folks,

We had applied for the OCI application for our new born son online and I have sent the documents by post on the 11/06/2013.

The documents tracker indicates the documents have reached okay.

When I check the status of the application (https://passport.gov.in/oci/) it says "No Record Found". Is this normal ?

yes, it is normal. for postal application you have to wait for 8-10 weeks before your application will be acknowledged.
it's not an online application yet but mere online data entry and submission so no record will be found until the postal application is acknowledged in the system.
