OCI Misc services - Current Status

HI guys
i have applied by post for my son OCI misc services- New Passport . Below is the current status report details, please could you advise what are the next steps / action for me to be taken if any

Applicant Name - "my sons name"
File Acknowledgment Number "file number"
Date Of Acknowledgment 27-JUN-2013
Registration Status at Mission LONDON
OCI- Number "blank"
Documents Printing Status UNDER-PROCESS On

any inputs are appreciated

seems i have not provide sufficient info:) .. any pointers to this is appreciated.. would like to understand by what it means "Registration Status at Mission LONDON".. does it imply that the application is recived by LONDON office or new documents(OCI) have reached to london office from india after approval...

any comments please, i have some travel plans .. so would really appreciate inupts.. will give me some idea where i stand at the moment

the status means the application is currently being reviewed - the status will change to 'processed' in approx 3-4 weeks from the acknowledgement dates and then you need to wait for further 5-7 days for the documents to reach London for collection.

thanks mate for response, another quick question , can i apply india visa for my son in meantime OCI arrives and travel on visa, if yes could you guide me so as how can i apply for india visa, so as i get asap

yes, you can apply for an Indian visa if you need to travel whilst OCI application is in progress.
