Dear Team,
I am currently on Tier-1 and applying for ILR on 01/07 , I need your guidance in 2 questions :
1) In the ILR form, on page 12, Section 5.6 I am confused as to what to mention the amount as my monthly income
I have earned more than 40,000 to score enough points to qualify the score under the Point based system
But my salary +Dividend amount that I transfer from my corporate account to my personal account is not consistent throughout the year
For eg: If I put the figure of £2500 in the "Total Amount" column in Section 5.6, it may mean that my yearly income is £2500*12 = £30000 which is not true.
Also I pay a rent of £1000.00 every month, so the Case Worker might have a question whether I can afford only £1500 a month as my additional expenses.
Again - this is not completely true since my total earnings are more than £40K
Can I put in a figure of £3000 as the total monthly income - but this will not tally with teh bank statement.
If they ask a questions - my logic is that I have divided the £40K with 12 months which is average of £3K per month.
2) Section 7.2 - "Please state what ties you have with ....."
What should we write in this section ?
I have my brother, sis and father living in India - but what I plan to write is " I have no social or cultural ties in India except the fact that my father is staying there." Is this ok ?
Please advise !!
Thanks,
VJ
