Attending ceremony abroad

Post by sushiej » Fri Jun 28, 2013 1:01 pm

My application for British citizenship has just been accepted - hooray!

I have just received my invitation to attend a citizenship ceremony which expires after 90 days. However I am currently overseas as my mum is unwell. Does anyone know if you can elect to attend the citizenship ceremony at a British consulate/high commission instead of having to be physically present in the UK?

Thank you!
