wife visa -> flr (m) ?

Post by qip » Fri Jun 28, 2013 1:17 pm

really quick question because I think I'm confusing myself.

We've applied for the marriage (wife) visa (settlement,in country,don't have to return), married now and the next stage is FLR M if you aply from inside of the UK. Is that correct?

so its Marriage visa (not marriage visitor). -> Flr (M) -> Set (O) -> ILR

Correct?

No - it's fiancee visa (the correct name) -> FLR(M) after marriage -> FLR(M) after 2.5 years -> SET(M) after another 2.5 years.

thank you, but why do I have to apply for flr m twice?

upd

Just read application form, make sense now.

so basicly flr m 2.5 years + flr m 2.5 + set m ( ILR ) after 5 years and then settlement straight after ILR is granted, since 5 (3 year period for spouses) acquired
