Hi sorry if I am in the wrong section.

My cousin applied for a visit visa for the uk from Saudi arabia. He just texted me that it got refused because of the late submission of documents. Is this a legit reason ?

If his stated reason to enter the uk is for an event that he cannot attend due to timing, yes. The event finished last sunday. He can reapply stating a new and different purpose.
