OCI Collection - Postal

Hi, I wanted to check if anyone collected their OCI through postal. I understand we need to send British passport and the online tracking confirmation print out to HCI but I am not clear on the timescales - will it take 1 week or 1 month for HCI to send back my British Passport with OCI stamp.

Please share your experience of collecting OCI through Postal option.

Hi, I collected my OCI through Postal. It took just week for us. I hope it would be same for everyone.

What that means?
on timeline topics the status of some of applicants has options like --
Document Scanned.......
OCI Granted .......
OCI Documents Printed......

My status report is given below...
Date of acknowledgement - 7th June 2013
OCI Number is - xxxxxxxx
Document Printing Status - PROCESSED on 28th June 2013
Dispached From MOIA(OCI) New Delhi - on 2nd July 2013
Documents Received at LONDON -- on ...................

Please clarify as you have gone throug this process. I was worried about photo specification. Hope they have gone through.

Has any one got an idea how long it takes to collect OCI in post from London HCI?

Also, when the status of application shows as processed and dispatched from Delhi, it means all are okay without any issues regarding documents, photo and the OCI booklet including the visa is on its way?

Dear Forum,
For delivery of oci cad via post.
The oci info page advise to send British passport and printouts of status teoorts with self addressed special delivery envelop.
Is that all. Am I missing anything?
