Do we need to cancel the old CoS

Hi All.

I have a minor question here. After a Tier-2 (G) holder changes sponsor, and gets approval for new visa
- Does he need to notify UKBA for cancellation of old CoS.
- If not, how does the previous employer notify UKBA
- Or is it that UKBA notifies the previous employer?

- Or is it that UKBA notifies the previous employer?
