Tier 2 General dependent visa (Out country application)

Hi Guys,

I have a question regarding Tier 2 General dependent visa.

My wife is currently applying for dependent visa. I have only 5 months left on the visa.

Will she be given a visa. I heard by some people that we need to have at least 6 months visa for the dependent visa to be granted, is that true?

I haven't found anything as such on the policy guidance.

Please help. Your assistance very much appreciated.

She should file an application, there is nothing to loose. If she gets well and good or otherwise if you are planning to go back home after 5 months then even it's fine.

If you plan to extend further then the chances are even better to file then.
