Tier-2 ICT to Tier-2 General/ILR query

Post by asia_europe » Thu Jul 04, 2013 11:18 am

Hi guys
I'm currently on a Tier-2 ICT Established Staff visa that was issued in August 2010.

Can someone tell me if I'll be able to switch to a Tier-2 General visa with the same or another company?

Also, just wondering if I'll be eligible for ILR in August 2015 when I complete 5 years in the UK. Just an additional piece of information - I had a Tier-2 ICT Migrant Staff visa from Jan 2010 - Feb 2011 which was cancelled to issue my existing Tier-2 ICT visa in August 2010. However, I did not travel the original visa.

Thanks

Hi ,
Rules keeps changing so no one can predict what will happen in 2015 , but, as per the existing immigration law tier 2 ICT VISA issued after april 2010 are not eligible for ILR.

Thanks. Yup, understand that the rules can change. Any idea though if under the existing rules I'd be eligible?
