UK spouse visa 18600 Issue Help - This wont waste your Time

Post by macjackbauer » Fri Jul 05, 2013 1:49 pm

hi all,

I have a issue with the 18600, as far as I am reading UKBA website, the finical requirement can be proofed by following requirement:

1) pay slip AND bank statement && letter from company to confirm that

2) all of above have to be over 6 month

My problems is, I have been with this company for like 16 month 04/2012

My stating salary is 18,000 then

on the 1st/Jan/2013 was raised to 18600, then

on the 1st/June/2013 was raised to 23000,

So I prepare 6 month payslip and bank statement all that as my boss change my salary to 18600 from the 1st/Jan/2013.

Therefore my question is : does UKBA calculate the 18600 by yearly or monthly basis? because by yearly basis, I wont reach 18600 by current tax year, but if by monthly basis my salary has reach 18600 by 1st/Jan/2013, which means I can apply for my wife's sponse visa now!!!

Please help!

For Cat A, salaried employment of more than 6 months, the calculation would be, the lowest Gross pay slip in the last 6 months x 12. If that meets the threshold then you are fine.

Also see Family Members - Specified Evidence

Also ensure there are bank statement that corresponds with the payslips over the relevant period, and that the payslip are authenticated by line manager if not on a letter headed paper.
