Hey, just a quick question:
I am thinking about applying for a PR and I was wndering how much detail you need to submit when proving your 5 years of residence as there doesn't seem to be much guidance on this.
I haven't been out of the country for more than couple of weeks a year so I thought this wouldn't be a problem, but I'm finding it hard to actually prove this. I was a student and I lived in a number of shared flats over the years and I wasn't always named on the tenancy agreement or on the utility bills. For one or two addresses I would struggle to find any statements at all.
Do you need proofs for every single place you stayed at? If I was at an address only temporarily and never officially registered myself as living there with my bank etc, should I just skip it? Or is it enough to write a statement explaining the situation?
If you are at a particular place for a period of time, do you need bank statements from every single month? Or is it enough to send one from the beginning and one from just before you moved out?
Do you think just getting my bank or university to print out and stamp the list of previous addresses I had registered with them would be enough?
