Oversea Girlfriend - Best way to move her to the UK

Post by leutrim23 » Fri Jul 05, 2013 4:42 pm

Hi my name is Leutrim. I am a British Citzen with a British Passport. I am 21 years old. I have lived in the UK since the age of 8.

I am currently on my second year of University, studying Journalism.

I have had numerous jobs, however nothing that pays annually, rather hourly rates.

I met a girl in Kosova, about 2 years ago, and we have been speaking daily since. I have visited her 4 times and intend to visit her many more times. We are in love and wish to get married and live together in the near future.

She also studies at University, has been in full time employment for the last 3 years too, has no criminal offence records (neither do I).

What would be the best course of action in order to get her here in the UK?

Thank you in advance for any advice, I will check back daily for replies.

If you intend to marry she can settle in the UK if your salary is 18,600 per annum. It would appear that this is not the case. Otherwise she can investigate student or work visas. Otherwise she can visit you no longer than six months per annum. The UKBA site has all of the necessary information.
