Child Tax Credit

Post by contactv » Fri Jul 05, 2013 9:22 pm

I am a British Citizen and my wife is on ILR. I would like to apply for child tax credit and I got the claim form . The form has got an option of single claim or joint claim ( me and my wife ) . We are both employed . My question is , which one is better to claim single or joint claim . Is there a template that shows how to fill the form . They actually sent a filled template with the form but the font size is too small to read.
Thank you

you have to make joint claim!!! It's not up to you to choose, otherwise it will be benefit fraud.

This forum is for citizenship enquiries, you should have posted in the benefits forum!

As above, if you're a couple then tax credits must be a joint claim. Moreover, you must declare both incomes.
