Fee.
4 photos, 2 signed/stamped.
Birth certificate.
Marriage certificate, if applicable.
Naturalization certificate, or whatever.
Proof of name.
Proof of address.
Proof of ID (other passport, etc.)

The DFA website (for first-time applicants) states that everything should be original except the proof of ID, for which it says:IntegratedMigrant wrote:you must submit your Original Current Passport.
Everything you'll submit as a first time Passport applicant must be Original.
Expect in proof of name or address where certified Drivers Licence is accepted (You must certify it at your local garda station).

additional form of photo-identification; e.g. certified copy of a drivers licence, work ID; student card; social club membership; passport from other country etc.
Moreover, I submitted a certified copy of my passport and got away with it.

Congrats, how come passport was provided in 4 days? did you apply in person? or through post office? I thought it requires 2-3 weeks to get the first passport.courny wrote:Applied for passport on the 27th around 3pm
4 working days later had new passport with me
got to say they were very efficient.
make sure to provide all documents and it seems to be very quick!

Surely you had luck , would you mind to share what documentation was submitted along with? i am planing to send the documentation with in days.courny wrote:to be very honest i was surprised!
i applied on the 27th of august and had it in hand on the 2nd.
4 working days.
i used passport express thru the post office.
i guess they werent that busy!
I have all but only missing part is driving licence. should i must have the licence?courny wrote:form,
