P60s are only given to employees if they work through the April month of the tax year. I guess the OP didn't work throught that month of that year.VKhetmar wrote:There is no need of P60 but it is always better to carry them. Why don't you have P60 for first year?

The case worker called me and asked for my previous P60 or any reference letter showing initial employment proof. I had my P60 for 2009. She was fine with it.
No other issues if you follow the Set ( o ) form clearly and avoid too many documents.
Incase you guys are in this situation, please keep any employment letter or proof ready. The HMRC letters wouldnt have helped.
All the best.
Yes. I had already provided all the HSMP approval letters. The Case worker asked for the proof for my employment. I didnt have the P60 for my HSMP duration. The one I provided was for Tier 1 period prior to the current employment. Was the P-60 in addition to the WP approval letters you provided.

She seemed to be pretty flexble and chose the P60 from the documents I had.
Little confusion..
As per your initial mail you had WorkPermit not HSMP. Could you clarify what did you had prior your Tier-1 HSMP or WP.
As per section 11L you should provide evidence that you are inline with immigration rules for the period prior Tier-1.
So even providing the P-60 for the period for which you where on Tier-1 not WP would not meet this requirement.
Would appreciate if you could kindly clarify the situation.
