Refusal of FLR O

Post by Ma logo » Mon Jul 08, 2013 5:54 pm

Thanks guys replying to our predicament, our child is 18 months, the secretary said the only person who can deal with our case is our solicitor, we applied on the basis of a British partner and child, proved with all documents required and the home office even requested more docs on the 16th of may 2013. We sent so many documents as prove. Please keep the advice coming as it is very shocking and frustrating!!! 15 months wait, solicitor on holiday. All at once.

Well, that cannot be the substantive reason for refusal. That statement is usually made in the proportionality assessment.

Which criteria in the rules did they say your partner could not meet?

Is the Child a British Citizen.

Did you apply before July 2012? if yes, then you have to apply again under the new Rules, Appendix FM. Even though I do not know your particular circumstances, I suppose you stand a better chance under the Rules as opposed to when you applied before July 2012.
