Benefits before citizenship?

Post by muttleylaughs » Mon Jul 08, 2013 10:26 pm

Hello all,

I was wondering if anyone knew whether or not claiming job seekers allowance, or any other benefit, would affect someone who is currently on indefinite leave to remain, but will be applying for citizenship next year? I mean, will claiming benefits hinder the citizenship application in any way?

Thanks,

Christine

Thanks, very useful! I will be looking at this again when we're about to start the citizenship application as well.
