Tier 2 New Employer

Post by acerbic » Wed Jul 10, 2013 9:18 am

Hello All,

Need ur professional advise immediately please!

I have been made redundant by my company last week but luckily, i have got the job somewhere else and employer is happy to provide me COS.

I have got few concerns:

* The new employer is providing me less salary comparing to the one i was earning before; will it effect Visa switching process?

* New job description and title is different, since i was a Project engineer in a manufacturing company and now it would be Estate manager in or Housing Officer in real estate business ; any issues due to that?

*I am on work permit since 2008 and the new job offered is NQV Level 3, i think i should be ok with NQV level 3 job since i have got work permit in 2008 ?

Waiting for your prompt replies.
Many thanks in Advance.

* New job description and title is different, since i was a Project engineer in a manufacturing company and now it would be Estate manager in or Housing Officer in real estate business ; any issues due to that? no, as long as the job is at least NQF3 level and the salary requirements are satisfied (see above)

NQF level 3 is OK in your situation but "estate manager" is actually NQF level 4 (SOC code 1251

Thanks manci!

Infact the new employers are happy to provide me NQV Level6 job that os project manager (Building Construction) with soc code 2436.

I hope with NQV level 6 , it would be straight forward?
