Laminated marriage certificate will allow for OCI

Hi! to all,

sorry to present silly questions here, I'm going to apply tomorrow for OCI card and I found one of evidence document marriage certificate been laminated 15 years back and now in the website says laminated documents are not accepted for submission

what should I do if I had since long time back with?

please reply any suggestion

assuming you have got a good quality photocopy it should probably be fine.
they normally don't ask for originals except the surrender cert.

Thanks ban.s for your enquiry and yes, They will be allowed that Laminated marriage certificate + photo copy but didn't submitted my application because some documents are missing so I have to go back prob. next week
but hope fully will not any issue as one of the staff member has confirmed.

I will let you all know when I'll submit my application.
