Requested my passport: 2/07/2013 (via online request)
Passport required 12/7/2013 (family emergency)
Passport received 11/7/2013
PR received 12/07/2013 (I am speechless, less than 2 months)
Been calling daily with getting the same responses from the call centre, we can't really do anything, we can't check it blah blah business, Frustration.
I emailed the liverpoolEuroReturns@homeoffice.gsi.gov.uk
I started calling twice a day, asking myself why if i just get the same answer?
To my surprise a very nice chap helped me yesterday (9th July) and he placed me on hold to speak with the application centre to track my request. I was told they have my request but its not send out yet. (i was blown back)
I called again today(10th July) to track it...... the same chap answered the phone, "HAPPYDAYS" he placed me once again on hold and spoke with application centre and came back with positive news, the Passports had been sent out late last night and he had given me the Royal mail tracking number.
Why can't they just be helpful and assist people desperate to get their documents back to avoid further overload and un due distress to themselves and the applicant.
Even tho the tracking number is not on royal mail's website yet, I have peace of mind I will have it within the next day.....
