Hi,
I was on Tier 1 (general) visa and my extension got refused recently.
Now my son is registered as british and has got a british passport..
I am planning to apply for FLR(O), is it ok for me to apply for child tax credit now? will it affect my FLR(O) application?
also should i not apply for child tax credit even though the child is british?
Please help in this soon,...
thanks in advance!!

To be able to claim the benefits you need to have the right to reside. Have you got a partner who is not subject to immigration control?

Hi,
I am planning to apply for FLR(O) on the grounds of parent of a child in uk.
my son is a british citizen and I am seperated from my husband due to domestic violence.
Is it possible if I am eligible to apply, also I do not have any court order or any such for the sole parental responsibility of the child letter. My child is with me since i left my husband when my child was 3 months old.
Also i have recently applied for the Child support agency.
will i application be still valid? i was earning more than £30,000 + before as software engineer, now becos of my visa status i cudn't go to a proper job...
so i don know how to prove HO that i can accomodate my child.
please please help me...am afraid they will refuse my application...kindly help me anyone...pls

is it the Domestic Violence and Immigration Advice Surgeries referral form?
many thanks for the link...in the document you sent, it says about 7 years residence of the child...my child is just 2 years and 6 months and is a British citizen..so Am I still eligible?
are there still possibilities of refusal? if they refuse my application, how will the child live in this country alone...

or has lived in the UK continuously for
at least the 7 years immediately preceding the date of
