Expiry on my ILE Visa

Post by rishk » Fri Jul 12, 2013 4:22 pm

I have UK Indefinite Leave visa on my old Indian passport and have been residing in UK for 3 years. I have obtained a new Indian passport recently from London. The Indefinite Leave visa always has expiry date as the expiry date of passport, however the visa is valid Indefinitely. I have spoken to the UK home office and there is no issue about it.

Do you think we will have any issues when flying from India?

Appreciate any feedback.

Regards

If the airlines know about ILE, returning residents and 2(a), then you will be ok.
