Why dont you read the policy guidance instead of bothering your friends or some one else? Anyways, here you go:

If you are outside the UK seeking entry clearance you must have at least £3,100 of personal savings which you must have held for a consecutive 90 day period before the date of your application

• If you are in the UK seeking further leave to remain you must have at least £900 of personal savings which must have held for a consecutive 90 day period prior to the date of your application.
