Hi, Im applying for british citizenship by descent under section 3(1). I was born illegitimately to a british father before 2006. I need help with a few things, please excuse my lack of grammar and punctuation as im doing this on my phone. First off. I Will be 17 years and 11 Months old when this application will be sent off, will that affect anything? Or is it ok for anyone under 18 regardless of how close they are to the quota? Secondly, i havent spent much time with my father, ive never had a chance my mother was diagnosed HIV positive when I was 6 (Im from Australia so its quite rare here) But I meet the requirements everywhere else, Good character consent from both parents and referees. I just feel like this isnt going to work out and it may be too late for me to get to know my father. Please give me your opinion and ill get back to you as soon as possible. Thanks
