Tier 2 General Restricted Visa

Hi Guys,

Could someone let me know the exact meaning of what Tier 2 General Restricted work means? I got that visa from India and working in the UK. But my sponsor says that since i m in Tier 2 General restricted, i cant move b/w different clients within the sponsor aswell. Is that something that i can transfer my sponsor?

I am really confused on what exactly is Tier 2 General Restricted work is all about.

It would be helpful if someone can let me know.

'Restricted Work' just means you can only work in the job for which your CoS was issued.
