New Passport - Inform UKBA for a new BRP ?

New Passport - Inform UKBA for a new BRP ?

Hi,

I have run out of blank pages on my current passport and will need to apply for a fresh booklet. This means that my passport number will change.
Do I need to inform UKBA and apply for a new BRP or as long as I carry both old and new passports while travelling it's not needed?

I will appreciate your response on this.

I don't think so. As long as you carry the old passport with the new one at all times, you should be fine.

I'd let the senior members / admin respond to confirm.

I had also made a query with the Home Office regarding this and got a reply from them this morning confirming that I don't need to apply for a new BRP.
