Help bringing my wife and new born baby

Post by mukuselvis1988 » Thu Jul 18, 2013 1:28 pm

Hi,my name is dan and I live in london. My enquiry is about bringing my wife and new born baby here to England from Cameroon. below is a summary of my situation:

I came into the UK on the 19TH of December with a family reunion visa to meet my kid sister and my aunt who had refugee status. I have been working since then. i went back home for holidays in August 2012 and got married to my present wife. a month later I got her pregnant and came back to the UK. I later applied for indefinite leave to remain and it was granted on the 6th of June . The baby is 3 weeks old. I am 24 yeasr and my wife will turn 22 next month. I live alone in a 3 bedroom rented house. I have been working in a company now on a contract for over a year. my monthly salary for the last six months before tax is as follows

January = 1864
February = 1777
March = 1909
April = 1739
May = 1800
June = 1900

Please i will love to know if i will be able to bring both my wife and baby here as soon as possible. Thanks

You have only just joined this Board. Your situation is far from unique. Please spend some time reading about the experience of others, and no doubt you will find the information you seek.
I live alone in a bedroom rented house.
How many bedrooms?

The accommodation looks good. Your wife will need to apply for a spouse visa, and your child for a child settlement visa. You need to do the maths to see whether your income is sufficient to meet the financial requirements.
