UK citizenship vs Scottish Power

Post by xyz111 » Fri Jul 19, 2013 9:31 pm

Hi,

My citizenship is due next June and now i m in dispute to my energy provider who has billed me more. I am wondering if this is going to impact on my application.

Scottish Power has sent me huge bill, which I believe is due to mistake and I have spoken with them and they are themselves concerned about it and will look into it. I am just wondering if the things don't settle down between me and them and we go into some litigation then would it impact my application.

Or I should simply pay (even when I am right) to avoid the hassle!!!

Please advise.

Thanks.

feel free to dispute the claim if you believe you were incorrectly charged. it's your right as a consumer and it should not have any impact on your citizenship application. in case the dispute is not amicably resolved and you were to take legal route it would be civil matter / small claims court type issue.
