Grandparents details for British Passport

I went to post office to send my British Passport application and they said I need to give my grandparents details in application.

As I have already added my parents details. In which I don't know my father date and month but aware of year he had born.

The reason to add grandparents details in British application form because my parent born before certain date.

Do I need to put my grandparents details in British application .

I don't know my grandparent details. I this situation what I need to do.
