Post by teetee4Z » Sun Jul 21, 2013 1:55 pm

Hi all

Made an application for EEA2 refused due to proxy marriage and no enough evidence to prove self employment of spouse EU national, appealed but it was dismissed cuz proxy d jugde did not accept our proxy Marriage and was not convinced we were in a durable relationship because of Disparities in some of our answers wen questioned.

We got Married here in UK and made a fresh application including the Birth cert of our baby but the application was refused based on the appeal judgement we had previously.

My question now is can we appeal? Since it is a fresh application and fresh evidencem
What are our chances of success?
Pls any advice or suggestion will b much appreciated

You most certainly can appeal. Circumstances has changed immensly. That should have factored in their decision.

What country was the proxy marriage conducted in?

Proxy marriages properly conducted in Nigeria, are accepted in certain circumstances.

That seems moot as you subsequently got married in the UK. Moreover, they declared it as a marriage of convenience.
