I have some doubt. I am a Malaysian final year medical student in Bangalore. And, unfortunately, my wife are planning to come as tourist to Bangalore, India.

And, she planned to stay for at least 3 months with me during my final exam MBBS. As your information, she got 6 months tourist visa from Indian embassy office at Malaysia.

My question are :

1. Can she stay for 3 months at Bangalore ?

2. Does she need to make any Residential permits (RP) if she want to stay for 3 months ?

Please, i need your information urgently.

If she has got 6 months visa then, yes, she can stay upto 180 days or until the validity of the visa.

No registration required for short term visits.
