Beware of UKBA Authority form tactic

Post by east579new » Mon Jul 22, 2013 1:56 pm

After looking at several immigration forums just recently the same thing is appearing all over when people have been refused leave and there solicitor sends a letter stating that they intend to seek judicial review even tho in most cases the UKBA are more than aware who is legally representing them they say they don’t and ask for proof of authority.

I believe this is a pure and simple tactic to run the judicial review claim time down, the easiest way to counter it is to tell you solicitor to add a signed authority form in with every piece of correspondence they send them.
