Tier 1 extension payment

Hi all,

I am new to this forum.
I have to renew my Tier 1 general visa in the month of november 2013. I am maintaining £3300 (1 main applicant + 4 dependants) for 90 days. After that whem I am applying I have to pay application fee of £6151. During that time can I use the maintenance funds that I am maintaining, for the application fee?

you can but remember for any reason, if your application refused or returned invalid, you most likely not able provide maintenance fund proof of last 90 consecutive days...
