Travel to India before Tier 2 Visa exprires in next 2 months

Hi,
My brother-in-law holds a Tier 2 general visa till Jan 2014. My sister and my niece are wtih him as dependents. Can they travel to India during November 2013 and return back in the same month as their Visa expires only by Jan 2014. Will their be any risk while going back to UK? Will the airport authorities allow them to enter into UK?

For sure they will be extending the Visa to stay after Jan 2014.
