Problems with my application

Post by MaryAustin » Tue Jul 23, 2013 4:42 pm

Hi I am sorry if I am not posting in the right forum.
I am writing more on desperation and advice since my case has undergone through innumerable errors from the home office, and I would like to ask if someone has undergone through the same ordeal my husband and I are going through.

I sent my application with all the relevant documentation on April 2012, and we moved houses a month after. I sent a letter to UKBA to confirm my change of address which I received a letter of acknowledgement for a week after. I was wondering if everything was ok with my case so I called and a man on the other side of the line told me I couldn't request any information about my case until 6 months have already passed.
I waited 6 months, and called again, this time every time I called, the same woman would pick up the phone, very rude I would say, she solely would say "I can't give you any information, you have to wait until your papers are returned to you"

Another 5 months passed and I start feeling uncomfortable with the amount of time my case had taken, and the same woman kept saying the same answer, of me having to wait for my documents to be returned to me. I sent a letter then to my local MP, and a complaint to UKBA, a week after a lady named Julie Hayward contacts me and tells me all my documentation has been sent to the wrong address, because apparently another change of address was made after I requested the first one, clarifying I never requested a second one, she tells me I have been working illegally the past 6 months, and I had no clue because they never sent any requirements to me to enrol my biometric data!

After a long discussion about my case she decides to reinstate the case and she ensures they are holding my passport and documentation since it was returned to them after a long time being held on the post office near my old address.

I enrol my biometric data and wait further another month, another month of silence.

Now my husband is part of the Armed Forces and he needs his passport with urgency to get deployed, and I call again this lady, and to my dismay, she has been sick the past month and passed my case to a guy who is completely oblivious to what had happened to all my case, and he just chucked it to a case worker. And to add the cherry on top of the cake, the case worker rebooted my case to 0, and sent me a letter requesting my PASSPORTS, because apparently they are still amiss...

Now my husband since he failed to provide his passport to his superiors has been denied deployment, I am in danger to lose my job because I couldn't apply for a personal licence that is mandatory for my working area, and I feel I am trapped and hopeless.

Can someone give me advice on what should I do? If more details are needed I am more than happy to disclose them, I really don't have anything to hide, I am just desperate to find a solution, and quick to my case.

Thank you in advance.

Mary A.[/i]
